Listing is for antique cross stitch picture in wooden frame. The picture depicts a pastoral scene with woman on a landscape surrounded by a lamb and dog. Vibrant colors and a depth in tones really adds to the scene. I believe the frame is walnut and it has a gilded bevel edge surrounding the panel.
21.75” square with frame having 1.75" depth and the cross stitch panel is about 15.75"

- I believe that the frame is original to the cross stich. There is variation to the background color like there … moreI believe that the frame is original to the cross stich. There is variation to the background color like there was a mat surround at one point, but I'm not sure that it was ever removed from the frame. The frame is in very solid condition showing minor blemishes with heavy wear to the gilt bevel surround. The cross stitch is in excellent shape showing very little in the way of missing stitches. less
