The piece is cast in a heavy metal composite with a mottled silvered finish, and it has that signature hand-worked texture that defines Lord’s sculptural pieces. The design, titled Maccabees, features a row of expressive, abstracted figures with raised arms forming the candle cups, all standing together on a beautifully arched base that gives the menorah a strong, unified presence. This model is one of Lord’s most sought-after designs, collected for both its mid-century artistry and its emotional storytelling. The underside retains its original felted base, consistent with Austin Productions’ 1960s work. A striking, sculptural menorah that displays beautifully year-round as an art piece. Perfect for collectors of mid-century Judaica, Brutalist design, or Austin Productions sculpture. See less
