Vintage 1950s Century brand nesting, spun aluminum, kitchen cannisters with rare "cranberry" colored red spun aluminum lids with bakelite handles. This is a set of four cannisters, with, in order of descending size, the words
" Flour" ( 9 inches tall w/ handle, 7 inches wide) ,"Sugar" ( 8 inches tall, 6 inches wide),"coffee" (7 inches tall, 5 inches wide) & " tea" (6 inches tall, 4 inches wide) embossed into their individual bodies. The cranberry colored aluminum lids are a rarity with silver colored lids being much more common to find.

- Not alot of imperfections on these cannisters. A few tiny imperfections in the forms of small dents & scratches, but … moreNot alot of imperfections on these cannisters. A few tiny imperfections in the forms of small dents & scratches, but not many. I guess the smallest of the cannisters marked " tea" has the most visible signs of aging or wear with 3 tiny dents in its red lid. Besides that, the largest or " flour" cannister has 1 small scratch in the lid, the other two lids are pretty much perfect as are the attached bakelite handles. The rest of the visible damage on these cannisters is around the bottom of each cannister in the form of small, not so easily visible dents. All of the aforementioned flaws are featured in the listings photos. less
