A pair of Christmas champagne flutes by Swedish artist Ulrica Hydman (1938-2018) for glass company Kosta Boda. The flutes each have a tree painted and signed to the outside and are marked “Kosta Boda Ulrica HV 7090782” to underside, as well as with a Kosta Boda sticker.
Ulrica Hydman Vallien specialized in stained glass and spent some time working for Kosta Boda. She was one of only 50 artists to be selected in designing pieces for British Airways. Today, her work in found in museums worldwide, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, and more.
