A substantial and ethereal limited edition offset lithograph titled "Morning Star" by Pacific Northwest artist Lee Bogle (b. 1946). This large-scale work (from the 1992 edition of 950) exemplifies Bogle's signature "Romantic Realism" style, depicting a Native American woman in profile wrapped in a blanket, rendered in soft airbrush, pastel, and watercolor textures.
The Aesthetic:
The piece features a dreamy, atmospheric palette of mauve, slate blue, charcoal, and warm skin tones. It is framed in a metallic silver/grey textured wood frame with a coordinating fabric-textured mat, perfectly capturing the high-end Southwestern aesthetic of the early 90s.
