A rare piece of work furniture, seldom found in this condition today – functional, charming, and full of genuine signs of use that tell its story. The solid chopping and working surface consists of glued hardwood blocks, as was formerly used in butcher shops and tinsmiths. The surface displays the typical, vibrant texture of cuts, notches, and wear – absolutely authentic and a strong character feature. The tabletop is framed all around by a sturdy, black metal band, as was traditionally done to permanently stabilize the construction.
