Good quality military-campaign writing slope, with secret compartments.

Rectangular shaped box with brass strapping and corner braces, blank cartouche on the lid and around the keyhole.  Working lock and key opens to form a writing surface which is covered in later baize.  Slope folds on itself to reveal wells for storage in 2 compartments.   Top section fitted with pen tray, 2 slopes and compartments for ink bottles.  Removing the brass pin allows access to a drawer to the side, also a catch which activates a spring loaded panel to allow access to 2 secret drawers.

no ink bottles included.  expected minor surface marks and very minor losses to bottom edge. recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
