A set comprising a bench and two stools in solid elm, made in France around 1980, in the style of Éditions Regain.
The rectangular seats rest on frames with straight uprights and transverse braces, evoking the architectural vocabulary characteristic of Regain's designs. The elm, with its dense and luminous grain, is protected by a satin varnish that highlights its honey hue. This set is distinguished by the purity of its lines and the quality of its construction, expressing a quest for furniture that is at once understated, robust, and timeless.
Made in France, around 1980.
