Blending elements from the modern world with a tranquil color palette, this hand knotted wool distressed Oushak rug is poised to impress. The geometric print and transitional beachy hues woven into this modern rustic area rug work together creating a truly unique look. The abrashed bluish-greyish field is covered in an all-over botanical design comprised of polygon shapes patterned with s-hooks, serrated leaves, and ambiguous shapes. It is enclosed with a geometric border flanked with an outer hook style guard border. In some areas, there is also the effect of natural wear and tear in an erased design, as if the paint has chipped away from the main pattern to a fashionable, rustic effect because the pile here was shaven to blend in beautifully, adding interest and character.
