Japanese poem calligraphy scroll, finely painted in ink on paper, mounted on dark green and gold, silk brocade nakamawashi in a floral medallions, lattice pattern, with a light green, raw silk, ten and ji, a white and gold, silk brocade, ichimonji in a floral pattern, and white jikusaki. Suggestive futai, outlined in blue ink, are painted on the ten. The makio and kakeo are white and black, braided silk. A Japanese poem in sosho script is written on the right, with an honorific in gyosho script to the left, with the signature in gyosho script, to the left again, below. Circa Taisho era.
