Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso green, gold flecks and controlled bubbles Italian art glass bowl / ashtray. Documented to designer Flavio Poli and Archimede Seguso for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1930-1940s. Model number 7169. Created in the "Bollicine" technique, with hundreds of little controlled bubbles throughout the green glass. It has 3 pieces of clear glass with gold leaf attached to the corners. Documented and published in the company's book, Seguso Vetri d'Arte, glass objects from Murano (1932-1973). Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or ashtray. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/2" across x 2 1/8" high.
