They are a matched pair. The birds are documented to the Salviati company, with original worn label underneath. The birds and branches are all profusely covered in heavy gold leaf, with an “Ombre” fade of color technique on the birds. There are flowers on the branches, and sculpted leafs. They would make a great display piece on any console table, credenza or vanity. You can display them looking at each other of flying apart. Mid-century era. They measures 9 1/2” tall and 9 3/4” tall respectively, about 7" long each x 4 1/4" wide. They are 14” across when both pieces are displayed together.
