Crafted from two contrasting clay bodies, this Saisho vessel reveals an intertwining landscape shaped directly in the making. Though the form is repeated using a mold, the surface is never the same. Broad sweeps of warm, iron-rich clay move across a pale base, forming organic lines and earthy contours that shift with the vessel’s geometry.
The natural meeting of the clays is intuitive, unforced, and entirely unique. The result is a one-of-a-kind composition where movement, tension, and material interplay give the piece its own quiet but distinct voice.
Seal with a satin finish.
