The top of one figure … Read more Spectacular pair of Art Deco era, Egyptian Revival bookends, made of alabaster on marble stands. The top of one figure has a very old repair to a crack that I haven't touched. It appears to have been filled with putty. As the repair looks almost as old as the bookends, I'm leaving it alone! These are so hard to find, and are real masterpieces! Each stands 5 3/16" tall and is mounted on a dark marble base that is 2 13/16" wide and 2 3/4" deep. These will be packed with the utmost care.
