Incredible opportunity to own a matching pair of authentic design legends. This Mid-Century Modern bedroom set is from the highly sought-after Heywood Wakefield "Encore" collection, featuring solid birch construction and the iconic, original Champagne finish. The set includes the rare 5-drawer tall chest (Model M1512, circa 1956-61) and the sweeping 6-drawer double dresser (Model M1514-1515, circa 1957). Both pieces feature the distinctively sculpted drawer fronts and sleek lines that define the Encore line. While structurally solid and immediately ready for use, they are being sold in honest vintage condition. They retain their original finish but do show some age-appropriate wear and minimal surface markings (please see close-up photos for examples of imperfections). They would be absolute showstoppers with a professional refinish, but currently possess a charming, authentic patina. Sold as a set only.
