A New England Queen Anne style candle stand in cherry, late 18th century, possibly Connecticut. The rectangular top with clover corners sits above a baluster turned bass over cabriole legs ending in snake feet. The lovely old finish enhances the depth of color and grain of wood. An attractive end table that can be used to enhance various rooms.
Height 26 1/2 inches, top 21 1/4 inches by 16 inches, base 23 1/2 inches overall.
