The table features a beautifully scalloped top showcasing an attractive cherry grain. The Cherry top is highly figured and has more character than most that we encounter. The table has cutouts on the apron and is joined with wooden pegs which can be seen underneath the table. Founded in the late 1970s, Eldred Wheeler became renowned for creating museum-quality reproductions of iconic 18th-century Early American furniture. Each piece was crafted using period-appropriate techniques, reflecting a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. As a result, Eldred Wheeler furniture remains highly desirable among collectors for its authenticity, meticulous construction, and timeless aesthetic. This side table is an excellent example of the company’s dedication to preserving early American design, and would be a fine addition to any Eldred Wheeler collection or early American interior.
