The sculpture reaches approximately 100 cm in total height, including the rays, giving it the presence of an altarpiece. The modeling is fully characteristic of the late Baroque period, with a transition towards a more serene devotional style typical of that time. It retains its usual iconography, with the lance of martyrdom, the book, and the original base with the old inscription "S. Jude Thaddeus." The radiant halo is also carved in wood and gilded. The polychromy is original, showing authentic wear from age, without recent interventions, and a homogeneous patina that confirms its age. It exhibits cracks, color loss, and erosion consistent with more than two centuries of liturgical use. It is an honest, aesthetically powerful, and highly decorative piece, suitable for both a collection of sacred art and for interior design with large-format antique pieces.
