We are pleased to offer for sale a piece that is both useful and wonderfully decorative. This is a vintage cruet set—specifically, a sculptural salt and pepper set—made in Italy during the 1970s by the luxury brand Gucci, as confirmed by the engraving on the base of both containers. Playful, elegant, and unusual, these vintage bird-shaped salt and pepper shakers will not go unnoticed on your holiday table setting. Likely depicting a mother quail and her chick, the two shakers differ in size and feature finely detailed, beautifully chased silver-plated surfaces. Solid and weighty, they are in good vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
