This rare sideboard embodies the essence of mid-twentieth-century Danish modernism and is a paragon of artisanal refinement. The piece, authentically marked 'Randers' on the back, comes from the renowned Randers Møbelfabrik, a manufacturer synonymous with high quality in the 1950s and 1960s.

The eye-catcher of this design is undoubtedly the beautifully crafted tambour door on the left. This type of roller door is a testament to technical superiority and luxury; the fine wooden slats disappear like a flexible skin into the housing, so that no hinged doors protrude into the room. The vertical lines of this door form an exciting contrast with the horizontal lines of the drawers on the right-hand side.
