Drawn by j. Kuyper and engraved by l. Portman. This vivid composition shows a family walking through a tropical island landscape. The man carries tools and a pan flute, while the woman supports an infant on her back, adorned with traditional jewelry and wearing a woven grass skirt. A smoking volcano rises in the background, adding dramatic atmosphere and geographical context.
