Ben Seibel's "Raymor Modern Stoneware" line for Roseville Pottery, produced from 1952-1954, included various large plates and platters, which were available in several colors. These mid-century modern pieces are oven-proof and known for their textured, organic surfaces.
This serving dish is in a "black" matte glaze and measures 10.5" x 8" x 3" with a small glaze defect noted on the interior bottom. See photos for detail.
