Crafted from pine wood with two main sections, divided in three compartments, with a top handle
Very desirable green - gray colored original paint, slightly distressed, possibly vinegar painted
Dove tail joints and hand hammered square nails used in the construction
Circa 1800s, American, found in New England
Measurements: Approximately 20" x 12" x 6.5" high with the handle
It weighs 6 lbs.
Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. The surface wear, paint loss, scuffs and worn edges are commensurate with the age and use and just add plenty or charm to the piece. Natural split to the wood at the bottom, nevertheless sturdy and stable. All original
