Classic large round drinks serving tray, with a handsome "high and low" mix of materials. Marked Italy. The reticulated pierced openwork silverplate gallery rim contrasts with the midcentury formica material in wood grain finish mimicking exotic rosewood. This material was specifically engineered to be water and alcohol resistant, making this a perfect bar tray. The craftsmanship in the pierced rim is exceptional, as would be expected for an Italian made item.
This tray is large enough to work on an ottoman if desired. Some faint surface scratches to finish and typical light patina to silver plating.
