The tiger picture is framed in a gilt wood frame with a chocolate brown velveteen fabric liner. The gilt frame appears to have been deliberately distressed with little dots as shown in the close-ups of the frame. The chocolate brown velveteen liner has a small scuff (about 1/8 inch) at the bottom of the frame.

This tiger needlepoint textile is in great condition, but I believe it would benefit from having the glass removed as it appears to be touching the needlepoint textile in some spots as shown in the close-up (photo #6). The frame, which has a wire for hanging, is backed by some type of solid material, so I would recommend having a professional framer remove the glass since the frame would need to be taken apart. Original framer was Nevada Fine Arts in Reno, Nevada (in business since 1969).

This framed tiger needlepoint would look great displayed alone or as part of a wildlife gallery wall. See less
