This characteristic round shell-shape inspires designers to make chairs. Famous designers made classics with this form. Max Bill created the endless movement and Fabiaan Van Severen designed his variation on this universal idea. White polyethylen in sheet form gets tightened into a shell-shape, kept in form through a minimum white lacquered iron frame. This method creates the correct elasticity for a perfect comfort. Maximum result for a minimum of material and energy (polyethylene is the least polluting synthetic, asks only a little bit of energy for production and is perfectly recyclable).
