Loose brushwork and a limited palette add to the changing of the season, fall to winter. Here, an old apple tree stands on the side of a mountain collecting snow on its branches, accenting its dance-like movement.
This is professional grade acrylic on a 9 inch high by 12 inch wide Ampersand brand museum grade 1/8" panel.

About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve is currently (2025) president of a well-known and respected local artists' association with over 200 members. His paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad. See less
