The main lid opens to reveal a large interior chamber, while above it rests a removable finial-topped lid concealing a secondary compartment. At the base, a long, narrow drawer with its original white pull remains intact; the underside has the original cigar-box labels. The tone of the wood varies which means this highly decorated box was fabricated using various cigar boxes and wood scraps.

Overall condition is consistent with age. All hinges are intact and functional, with minor scuffs and surface wear enhancing its historic patina.
