This antique Coromandel Screen is a stunning piece of art and is a rare find. I believe this is from the late 18th to early 19th century piece due to the patina, the material used, and the intricate details of the art. On one side of the screen, each panel displays children playing at the center of the panel, flower and vase on top, and ox at the bottom. On the reverse side, each panel displays nature scenes of plants, flowers and birds. The base color is in gorgeous deep red lacquer, and each panel is encased in decorated 1.625" frame. It is truly a special piece.
