A richly detailed vintage “Gold Imari” porcelain plate, hand-painted in the classic Arita Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and gold. The design features alternating panels of birds, florals, and Japanese garden scenes, centered around a stylized chrysanthemum medallion — a hallmark of traditional Imari artistry.
The underside bears the “Gold Imari | Hand Painted” mark, used by Japanese porcelain workshops in the Arita region during the 1960s–1980s. These export pieces were admired for their luminous glazes, intricate enamel layering, and brilliant gilt accents.
With its scalloped rim and vivid palette, this piece displays beautifully on a wall, in a cabinet, or as a striking tabletop accent.
