A richly detailed vintage Japanese Imari-style porcelain bowl, showcasing a striking hand-decorated pattern in cobalt blue, iron red, gold, and teal. The floral medallions and scalloped corner design frame a vibrant central bouquet motif, all painted with the layered precision typical of fine Kutani and Arita porcelain.
The underside bears a red Kutani-style seal mark, characteristic of mid-century export porcelain produced in Japan’s Kutani region during the 1970s–1980s. These pieces were made for the Western market and are admired for their bright white porcelain bodies, crisp underglaze blues, and richly enameled overglaze designs.
The bowl’s square form with softly flared corners and gently raised profile adds both sculptural interest and elegance — perfect as a display piece, centerpiece, or as part of a collected Imari grouping
