The smaller one is 12” long by 5” deep by about 4 1/2” high. The wooden tops of both of the storage shelves are made of a solid wood. Both units are open space for inside “secret” storage of small items. I found the pair of these lovely shelves from the 1980's in an antique store downtown Las Vegas, NV. See less
