The bronze drum has a tapered form typically from east Burma or Myanmar made by the tribes of the Karen people. The drum has loop handles on the sides for hanging. The top and sides are decorated with concentric circles and the top is centered by a sunburst or star motif. The flat top is decorated with stacks of little frogs on top of each other. The drum is heavy and large with a rich patinated finish on the bronze.

HEAVY. High quality casting, imported mid 20th century.
