The playing board rests on four classically shaped feet. The set comes with two black plastic gokei (bowls) with a wood-grain finish., filled with a complete set of black and white Go stones. The top shows a beautiful playing field with finely drawn lines; the surface is even and perfectly playable, with only light traces of use appropriate to its age.

The warm, dark-brown patina and subtle colour variations in the wood give the board a calm, understated presence, making it highly decorative even when not in use.

A ready-to-play ensemble: ideal for anyone who enjoys playing on an authentic Japanese board, but equally perfect as a zen-like accent on a low table, sideboard or in a game room. See less
