Richly decorated with vibrant arabesque motifs and warm, saturated colors, this piece is an evocative example of Umbria’s historic ceramic tradition. Orvieto has been renowned for its ceramic production since the Middle Ages — its distinctive “Orvieto ware” has been documented as early as the 13th century.
