Fritz van Daalen ran a shop for arts and crafts in Schwäbisch Gmünd (Baden-Württemberg, Germany). In 1938, he established the ceramics workshop "van Daalen Keramik," producing sculptures, wall reliefs, and bowls. Production had to be halted in 1943 due to the war. The shop reopened in 1945, and production resumed in 1946. The product range included artistic ceramics and ceramic vessels. Between 1950 and 1951, a factory was built in Aalen. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
