Originally the company was established in 1840 by Louis Lebeuf et Milliet. In 1876, the company became "Barluet et Cie", then in 1884 it was merged and finally named "Faïenceries de Creil et Montereau" (who in turn were purchased by Choisy Le Roi in 1920).
