To the back of the chair is a pierced circular backsplat, supported by 4 turned spindles and a charming curved hooped back rail to form the backrest.

Connecting to the back rail is the beautiful carved armrest design, that is supported by two turned front supports.

Leading down to a delightfully carved saddle seat that highlights the Elm wood, that makes a lovely period feature for comfortable seating, or simply for a cushion.


Proudly stood on four outward splayed turned legs, connected by a lower H-frame stretcher, to provide solid structure and support for this wonderful armchair.

This Vintage armchair would add a touch of farmhouse warmth to a country or farmhouse living, dining rooms, kitchen, or hallway settings.

Overall, this armchairs is in excellent condition, with slight signs of use and veneer wear, as to be expected from years of age (see photographs).
There is a piece of wood that sticks out from the front right corner of the chair (see photograph).
