Antique Staffordshire Clementson Brothers CHUSAN pattern Victorian lavender transferware plate. The mark on the back of the plate dates this plate between 1840-1864.
It is in the Chinese influence style of the period.
This plate could still be used as gentle tableware, it would make a great piece of wall art, for a plate rail or Welsh dresser.
It is in good condition without chips or cracks, it has a lovely time worn patina tea stain.
NOT recommended for a dish washer.
