Made in Italy circa 1970s, it features a glossy green glaze and finely modelled leaf details, recalling Barbi’s fascination with nature and craftsmanship. The lamp reflects the Italian taste for expressive ceramics and the tropical influences that ran through much of Barbi’s work. This example retains its original leaf-shaped ceramic shade and base. A repair is visible at the top of the stem, reflected in the price. Not visible from outside. And a very small loss of glaze in one of the bottom inside edge of the canopy. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
