A striking Derby biscuit porcelain sculpture after Kauffmann and Ryland (1777): the Three Graces bind Cupid beneath a high tree. The matte biscuit finish mimics carved marble and embodies late-Georgian Neoclassical refinement. The model is recorded in the V&A and Fitzwilliam Museums — a rarity in private ownership.
Condition
One Grace absent to the rear; partial bow loss; minor floral losses; 18th-century kiln stress lines incl. a radial line beneath base. UV-tested — no through-cracks or structural restoration beyond disclosed issues.
