Beautiful majolica ceramic jug-shaped vase, created by the famous Italian artist and painter Mario Sironi (1885-1961) in 1955. Signed and dated under the base. Crafted using a highly specialized technique, it features a very hard, matte glaze, similar to those found on lava rock vases. Decorated with horse silhouettes incised into the ceramic body of the jug, and houses on the neck. In addition to the dark, matte, lava finish, there are also occasional green glazes on the main body of the vase, and blue glazes inside the mouth and on the handle. The shape is also unique, never seen before on any jug of any style or manufacture.
It must be noted that this isn't just a simple ceramic vase, from any manufacturer, famous or otherwise, important or otherwise. This is a unique piece, made directly by the artist, entirely by hand, without a mold. This is clearly evident from the irregularities of the vase, which is not at all symmetrical because it wasn't made with a mold, but entirely by hand. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
