Aldebaran is a metal floor lamp made in Italy, characterized by a slender, minimalist shape.
The structure is handcrafted and finished by hand; the perforated cubic shade incorporates an opal fabric diffuser that casts a soft, even light. The finish, achieved through a layered process using hand-applied bronze pigments, creates a bronzed brass effect with tonal variations.
Light filters through the perforations, creating a pattern of projected shadows that shifts depending on the viewing angle and adds depth to the space.
Designed by Alberto Grassi, a Florentine designer, in his studio in Florence.
