this generously sized edelweiss chest of drawers, like the one shown previously, is from the manufacturer kehr in augsburg-göggingen, germany, and was manufactured in gütersloh.

it represents the characteristic style of the late 1950s and early 1960s, a period marked by light and dark veneers, elegant lines, and chrome accents.

the piece combines light maple veneer with a dark, almost black walnut tone and features the vertical decorative lines in an ivory finish typical of the era.
