The piece bears the signature "Bertolotto" on the back and the historic "Emmebi" factory label. A superb 20th-century vintage piece.

Subject and Style: Renaissance-style "Istoriato" design. It depicts a classically inspired allegorical scene: a seated female figure with a tambourine, flanked by two cherubs in a landscape. The rim is richly decorated with a garland and scroll motif. Material and Finish: Made of high-quality majolica (glazed ceramic), entirely hand-painted with a polychrome palette (blue, green, ochre, brown). The finish is glossy and shiny. Back: The back of the plate bears the handwritten signature "Bertolotto" and the original paper label from the factory "Emmebi - Albissola". It features the classic two holes for wall hanging. Ideal for collectors of Albissola ceramics, lovers of historiated majolica, or as a focal piece for decorating a prominent wall in a living room or study.
