This piece is a classic example of Murano craftsmanship, attributed to the great master Archimede Seguso, estimated to date back to the 1970s.

Subject and Style: Extremely elegant and slender design. The teardrop shape has a long neck. The decoration is created by a spiral that wraps around the body of the bottle, alternating black glass with luminous bands. The stopper is a masterpiece in itself, hot-sculpted in the shape of a leaf or black flame.

Material and Finish: Crafted from heavy blown glass. The decoration is achieved with the complex technique of embedding "silver leaf" (silver flakes) on a base of deep, glossy black glass. The effect is extraordinarily brilliant.

Base: The base is circular and solid, ensuring perfect stability.

Ideal for collectors of Murano glass and Archimede Seguso designs, as a sculptural statement piece for a mid-century decor, or to hold a fine liqueur.
