Elegant champagne coaster set made of silver-plated metal, manufactured by viners of sheffield, england, marked "alpha plate – granted by the cutlers company 1836." the set consists of a bottle coaster with a decorative rim, a coaster holder, and six coasters, all decorated with delicate floral relief decoration – an embossed, recessed pattern that lends the silver a charming texture.
the coasters have a non-slip plastic coating on the underside. A stylish ensemble of british dining culture in the spirit of art nouveau – elegant, functional, and decorative at the same time.
