This piece is a superb example of Eclectic (or Umbertine) style furniture, rich in detail and with a strong decorative impact, estimated to date back to the Vintage period (first half or mid-20th century, inspired by late 19th-century models).

Subject and Style: The entire piece is a triumph of the "Hunting" style (Jagdstil), very popular between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The upper part opens with arms and curls to hold canes or umbrella handles. Material and Finish: The frame is crafted entirely from solid, heavy cast brass, a guarantee of quality and stability. It features a splendid gold/bronze finish, with a dark patina in the recesses that enhances the sculptural details and attests to its age. Base: The base serves as a drip tray and is the focal point of the piece. It is finely chiseled with a rocky terrain and foliage motif, and features the figure of a hunting dog (setter type) crouched and waiting. The entire structure rests securely on three elegant root-shaped feet. Ideal for decorating a prestigious entryway, a study, a country home, or for collectors of hunting-themed objects and vintage brass pieces.
