Carved from a single block of wood with a gouge, this robust stool boasts a surprisingly comfortable seat and an exceptional patina. This piece of folk art is of high technical and artistic quality.
Made of oak, it is as heavy as it is solid. Years of use, likely during milking, have bequeathed it a superb patina. The seat is sculpted to ergonomically fit the user's buttocks. The legs, perfectly fixed and stable, are ideally proportioned.
This is a small masterpiece of folk craftsmanship, comparable to the great names of the genre.
