the supporting frame is a fiberglass monocoque resting on a painted metal swivel base. The padding is polyurethane foam, upholstered in the original orange-red fabric.
the curved profile and central buttons give the f591 an elegant and welcoming look, and the seat is extremely comfortable.
the piece shows slight signs of age and use, most noticeable on the fabric, which is faded in several areas and has a few small tears. It can be kept as is or reupholstered; we are somewhere between the two options. Overall, the armchair is in good vintage condition, stable, and perfectly usable.
the artifort tag underneath indicates the model f591 and the manufacturing date, which is 1975.
